There is hope in knowing you are not the only one experiencing the symptoms.
Postpartum Depression and Anxiety
You are not the only one with this confining, crazy-making, inner chaos within. Working with me, a certified Perinatal Mood-Disorder Specialist can help.
Many women dream of becoming pregnant and having a healthy baby. Most women do experience childbirth with a happy ending. Other women that share this goal may face challenges, like:
Infertility
Miscarriages
Traumatic birth outcomes
Multiples (twins, triplets, etc…)
Difficulty with mother-infant attachment
The above can lead them to experience depression, anxiety and poor sleep. As a certified Perinatal Mood Disorder Specialist, I dedicate a large part of my therapy practice to women with challenges like those above. During my time working in nursing as an RN, I worked in obstetrics and labor and delivery. On a personal note, I suffered from postpartum depression 35 years ago when this was not a recognized condition. Since then, I have been able to help numerous mothers. Therefore, I am here to help you.
